Cylindrical

The surface of cylindrical lenses is curved on the horizontal axis only, wrapping securely around the face while remaining flat vertically. Cylindrical lenses have a more retro aesthetic and are often preferred specifically for their style.

Toric

Toric lenses combine the best qualities of cylindrical lenses and spherical lenses. Toric lenses curve horizontally and vertically, but the vertical curve is less pronounced than that of a spherical lens to improve the vent volume potential of the goggle frame.
